"There's someone I want you to meet," Chris told me when he got back to our hotel room from his morning jog. And he explained what he'd found. "You've got to see these paintings," he said. I knew Chris wanted to buy one, but when he introduced me to George the three of us got into this conversation there on the sidewalk that lasted for I don't know how long. Somehow, it felt important. We ended up buying not one painting, but two. And we love 'em. Our friends here in Atlanta talk about them, and I often move them from room to room. Meeting George and buying our paintings was the big highlight of our trip to San Francisco"
